How to make a Healthy Charcuterie Board

Healthy breakfast charcuterie can be fun and easy! Use your oven to keep foods warm and stack them up for a pretty presentation.

Equipment

  • 12 inch long wooden or ceramic board or tray

Ingredients

Items for the board

  • 4 eggs fried, boiled or scrambled
  • 8 sausage links uncured preferred
  • 8 slices bacon uncured preferred
  • 4 waffles, pancakes or muffins gluten free, almond flour, or regular
  • 1/2 cup strawberries rinsed, stems left on and sliced in half
  • 2/3 cup blueberries washed and dried
  • chamomile flowers optional

Sauces and jellies

  • Maple syrup
  • Jam fruit juice sweetened is best
  • Honey raw and unfiltered
  • Butter softened

Notes

Add jams and jellies to the board in a triangular formation.
Cook sausages and bacon first, keeping them in a warm 170 degree oven on a plate. 
Cook eggs according to preference last and be ready to add them to the board right away. 
Keep pancakes, muffins or waffles covered in the oven to keep warm. 
Refresh items on the charcuterie board as they are eaten.
