I had a sausage quiche recently and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I came across this recipe. I’ve never left a comment on a recipe before, but I felt like it was warranted. I used a stoneware pie dish and this *drastically* increased the bake time to over an hour. I was worried and a quick google search recommend leaving the temperature alone and just adding more time. So every 5-10 I checked it until it puffed up and the internal temp was appropriate. I haven’t even tried it yet, it looks and smells delicious, though! I’ll report back!

Well...great question Danielle. I think when I wrote this I was giving you the option in step 3 to choose whatever pie crust you wanted to use. I'll go in and adjust that.

I have made a quiche on Christmas morning since my kids were toddlers and they're 39 and 44 today! I make mine with slices of Swiss cheese on the bottom, 3 eggs, 1 cup heavy cream, 1 tsp mustard powder, 1/2 tsp salt and either bacon (cooked & crumbled) or turkey sausage (cooked & crumbled) or both! then I sprinkle sliced almonds on the top and bake! If you like a little heat, add 1/4 - 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes. Yours reminds me of mine and is delicious!
