No Katherine you can&#039;t. You&#039;ll cook them. Even at 40 degrees the inside of the jugs gets warm enough to sprout seeds so at 100 it&#039;s just an oven. --Rachel]]></description>

Hey Terry, the bottom holes are essential for drainage. Just like if you were planting in a pot, you always have a hole in the bottom for excess water to drain away. If you don&#039;t make the holes, you run the risk of the roots staying too wet and seeing your plants rot. It&#039;s just not worth the risk. The key to keeping that greenhouse effect is making sure the tape is tight around the center and even with that you&#039;ll still have to water. --Rachel]]></description>
